Dear Careers & Education, I am currently teaching with a provisional certificate as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities in the state of New Jersey. State regulations have changed, my application caught in the cracks, and while I was told I would be grand-fathered as a Teacher of the Handicapped, the state has now declined my application. I already have a master's degree plus 30 credits. Can you help me find an online program that will review my coursework and allow me the ability to complete a certification program and keep my job? Can you recommend any school that offers online course work for this certification?
