Earning potential soars with higher education. On average in 2004, nearly $16,000 in additional annual income was earned by the typical graduate of a Connecticut Community College (CCC) occupational program, six months after program completion, as reported by the Connecticut Department of Labor. In addition, data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics indicate that an associate degree graduate can expect to earn approximately $400,000 more during a working life than a high school graduate.
