Political groups and activists act on the public's behalf to help make policies and laws that govern the public. Types of public policy include crime policy, domestic policy, education policy, energy policy, foreign policy, healthcare policy, national defense policy and public policy, social policy and social welfare policy. Policy can also be seen as advocacy to a certain extent. Think tanks employ public policy activists in order to devise new policies. In the private sector, jobs are available as consultants to businesses to help understand and formulate government rules and laws.
Obtainable Degrees
Educational standards include a bachelor of arts or a bachelor of commerce and administration. Both of these degree plans will include economics, government and politics.
